The On Market tab

Written by Jonathan Zadegan

The On Market tab helps you spot clients in your database who are transacting — whether or not they listed with you.

What it shows:

  • A new On Market tab on your Clients page, next to All Clients, Needs Review, and Pending Invite. It filters your clients down to those who currently have a property on the market.

  • Homsie detects listings by matching your clients' properties against the MLS — so a client shows up here even if they listed with another agent.

Per-client market history

Open any client and look at their Activity panel. Alongside their emails and portal visits, you'll now see market events for their property:

  • Listed on MLS — for sale or for lease, with the list price, the brokerage it was listed with, and the MLS number.

  • Sale closed — with the sale price, the asking price, and days on market.

Why it matters

  • It shows you how much of your database is transacting without you — and gives you a reason to reach out.

  • Watch for listings that expire or get delisted. A seller whose listing didn't sell is often ready for a conversation — and now you'll know to make the call.

Homsie surfaces this in the On Market tab and each client's Activity timeline. It doesn't send a notification currently, so check in periodically — the Activity feed is a good place to catch Listed, Sold, and Delisted events across all your clients at once.
