Why am I seeing a verification message after signing up?

What the new-customer verification (KYC) message means, why it appears, and how to clear it.

If you see a message saying we need to complete verification for new customers, this is a normal part of getting started and it's easy to clear. Here's what it means and what to do.

Why you're seeing this message

As a regulated service, we verify new customers when they first start using a paid plan. You'll usually see this notice in one of two situations:

  • You've created an account but haven't started a plan yet. Until your first payment goes through, your account shows 0 domains and 0 mailboxes, and the dashboard keeps prompting you to choose a plan.

  • You've just made your first payment and verification is still being completed in the background.

Any example mailboxes or domains you see on the dashboard before your plan starts are placeholder samples, not live accounts.

How to clear it

  • Choose a plan and complete your first payment from the billing area of your dashboard.

  • Verification then completes automatically, normally within about 72 hours.

  • Once verification is done, your domains and mailboxes unlock and the message disappears.

Already on a paid plan and still seeing it?

If you've made your first payment and the message is still showing after a few days, it usually just needs a quick manual check on our end. Contact us with your account details and we'll look into it and clear it for you.
