New ACH details for Pakistan are available now. You can set yours up in the app in a few minutes.
This article covers the documents to have ready, the setup steps, and the most common reasons documents get rejected.
Before you start: have these four documents ready
ID or passport. A live photo taken with your phone camera, not a scan or a photo of a screen. All four corners visible, with no glare anywhere on the document. Even if we already have your ID on file, you may be asked for it again to meet our new partner's image-quality standards.
A live selfie. Taken in the app as you upload it. A photo from your gallery will be rejected and will delay you.
Proof of address. A utility bill, bank statement, rental agreement or tax document. Full page, not a crop. Issued within the last 3 months, showing the issue date, your full name exactly as it appears on your ID, and the address you gave us when you signed up. A digital copy is fine.
Proof of how you earn. Anything that shows where your income comes from: an Upwork or Fiverr earnings statement, a local bank statement, a salary contract or employer letter, or online store records.
Why we ask for everything now
With our new US banking partner, your verification is done once, at setup, instead of in pieces every time you receive money. Asking for everything upfront is what makes approval immediate and keeps your transfers moving afterwards.
How to set up
Open the nsave app. On Home, make sure your USD account is selected. If it isn't, tap the USD Account ▾ header at the top and choose USD.
Tap the Account details tile under your balance, then tap the ACH (USA) tab.
Under Request ACH, tap the first step, then confirm your address, accept the terms, and upload the four documents above.
It takes about 5 to 10 minutes. If your documents are in order, approval is usually immediate and your new routing and account numbers appear right away on the ACH (USA) tab. Use Copy details or Share to send them to whoever pays you.
What gets documents rejected
Most re-submissions come from three things. Check them before you submit:
Glare or missing corners on the ID. Retake it in even light, no flash, with the whole document in the frame.
A selfie from the gallery. It has to be taken live in the app.
Proof of address that is too old, cropped, or doesn't match. It must be under 3 months old and show the full page, the issue date, your name exactly as on your ID, and the address on your nsave profile.
If the address on your nsave profile is not one you can provide a proof of address for, contact support@nsave.com before you start your request. You can't change your address during the ACH setup itself.
If a document keeps getting rejected, write to us rather than trying again. It's faster.
Once you're approved
Share your new details with everyone who pays you the same day. Here's the checklist of who to update. Your old details stopped accepting payments on 30 September. If someone sent money to them after that, check your nsave balance: if it was credited, it arrived. If it isn't there, it is returned to the sender, and returns take 14 business days or more. If the sender still hasn't received it back after that, contact support with the date, amount and sender.
Your first transfer into your new details also unlocks your thank-you offers: $90 off the Infinite card and 2% cashback if you had ACH before, or a free Platinum card once you've received $100 if you're new to ACH.
