The deposit is designed to cover:
Accidental damage to the item during the rental
Loss or non-return of the item
Missing accessories or components
Professional cleaning required after return
Item not returned in the same condition as at pickup, including cosmetic damage
It does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Pre-existing damage
Damage outside the rental period
Lost rental income
