The latest updates to SubcontractorHub are designed to enhance efficiency, control, and visibility across key areas of your business. With streamlined project management, improved sales processes, and new finance options, these features help your team work smarter and more effectively. These updates offer greater flexibility, ensuring a smoother experience and supporting your growth at every step.
Admin Tools for Enhanced Control and Flexibility
Admins can now map Seamless Energy fields to another organization before creating a BOM. This ensures the required data is available in the correct format, preventing errors and delays in project progression. Admin updates now provide tighter control over financial data. The Finance Summary in project details is only visible to users with the appropriate permissions, improving privacy and ensuring role-based access for sensitive financial information.
Additionally, new features allow for more efficient operations: Reports can now be sorted by both labels (x-axis) and values (y-axis), in combination with ascending/descending, providing enhanced flexibility when analyzing data. In SubHub Sign Templates, required and optional fields are now clearly mapped, and the signing navigation has been improved. The left-side bar guides recipients to all fields needing attention, ensuring better visibility. Recipients can skip optional fields, but cannot submit the document until all required fields are filled.
Admins can select which roles have access to the roof proposal margin feature. This provides better control and security over proposal pricing by restricting margin management to authorized users only. Access to SubHub Sign Envelopes is now permission-based, allowing specific roles to access envelopes as set by the organization admin. Furthermore, the Holdback section is now accessible to organizations that have been added to holdbacks by the Customer Experience Manager, enabling them to view, add, and edit holdbacks for their organization.
With Aurora Designer Settings, office admins can now set a default designer for their office, overriding the parent organization's assignment. A new “Map Value” field with offset % has been added to the CallPilot integration, offering more precise configurations. Additionally, Admins can now configure Project Stage Field Dependencies to either show/hide or enable/disable dependent fields. With the show/hide option, the dependent field remains hidden until the parent field is filled. With the enable/disable option, the field is visible but cannot be edited until the parent field is completed.
Sales Velocity Enhancements for Faster Proposals and Closures
Sales Velocity simplifies proposal and consumption workflows. Users can import a utility data CSV into the Consumption Profile for specific utilities, download the same uploaded file when needed, and keep it available in both proposal and project attachments. Consumption data now auto-saves when the utility rate plan changes. Additionally, the Proposal Builder shows an estimated commission amount to eligible users, offering real-time visibility into earnings. Sales reps can enter a margin in the Roof Proposal section if the "Enable Roof Proposal Margin" setting is enabled. The margin can be a flat amount or a percentage and applies to the entire proposal subtotal. This feature is editable only if the appropriate permission is granted in User Profiles.
Finance Updates for Simplified Transactions and Improved Flexibility
Concert Finance has expanded with the new Propel Prepaid PPA/Lease product for solar job types. The product is available only if the customer’s address is within the service area, ensuring accurate product selection. Sales reps must specify the customer’s utility and create an account, streamlining the financing process for smoother transactions. Additionally, Aven Financing is now live, offering sales reps faster and more flexible loan financing options for their customers across all job types. For battery proposals financed by SOLRITE and marked as closed-won, organizations now have the option to generate an Installer Change Order (ICO) alongside the Homeowner Change Order (HCO).
Project Management Upgrades for Better Workflow and Clarity
Project Management updates ensure accuracy and streamline project progression. For Seamless Energy-financed projects, “Utility Approved” is now a required part of the BOM workflow, ensuring accurate data before proceeding. The Marketplace Site Survey Photos tab in projects is now visible only if the Customer Experience Manager has enabled the feature. In Project Details, new fields for “Tree Contractor” and “Roof Contractor” have been added to the Owner and Team Info section, allowing contractors to be selected from a dropdown list for all job types, making it easier to keep track of the team involved in each project.
