Don't worry: if an AI generation fails, the credits for it are returned to your balance automatically.
The screen says "1 min", but it's taking longer
The time on the screen is approximate — at peak hours, a generation can take longer. You don't need to stay on the generation screen. To be safe, keep the app open and stay connected to the internet until it's finished.
Where can I find my result?
Open My Projects.
Go to the AI Generations section — results from AI tools are collected there.
Pull the screen down to refresh the list.
👉 If a result from Instant Reels Maker or AI Carousels didn’t appear in My Projects, opened to an empty screen, or showed a blue placeholder, update Instories to the latest version. After the update, these projects appear and open on their own — you don’t need to generate them again.
Will I get my credits back?
If a generation ends with an error, gets stuck and never finishes, or is blocked by our AI provider's automatic content moderation, the credits come back automatically after a while. If you don't see them:
Tap the menu (three lines) in the top-left corner → My Account.
Tap Restore at the bottom of the screen.
Restart the app and check your balance.
👉 Please Note: If the generation finished and you got a result, the credits are used, even if the result isn't what you expected.
The generation is stuck or keeps failing
A generation that has been stuck for a long time usually won't finish. Follow the steps in AI tools don’t work. What should I do? (update the app, tap Restore, restart your device, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, turn VPN on or off), then start a new generation. If you're adding videos, try a shorter or lower-resolution clip — very large files can make a generation fail.

the name of the AI tool or template;
roughly when it happened;
a screenshot of the error or of the stuck generation, or a short screen recording;
your current balance from My Account.
We'll check your attempts and return the credits for any that failed on our side.
