Nutrient Analysis (in prep for 26/27 USDA Annual Certification)
Weekly Nutrient Analysis now excludes fluid milk saturated fat from weighted totals. Districts can set a default preference and override it per report.
Daily Nutrient Analysis applies the same exclusion, but only to weighted totals — per-item values are unchanged.
Sub-recipe incompleteness now carries through to parent recipes, so gaps in nutrition or ingredient data are visible at every level.
Orders & Deliveries
Order Guide is visible again on Create Order and Add Product flows.
Central Kitchen order panel now shows deliveries per order — same view as the standalone order page, with ordered/sent/received quantities per delivery.
Orders and Deliveries detail tables have a cleaner layout at narrow widths, with Product moved to the leftmost column.
Orders list has a consistent default sort with a visible sort indicator in the column header.
Clarified "Sent" status wording for external-vendor orders.
Inventory warning added to the Adjust and Close order dialogs, reminding you that adjustments don't update inventory.
Consolidated Orders report now reflects actual deliveries. The report is built from your deliveries instead of your orders, so each row shows what was actually delivered and is dated by the real delivery date. Orders that haven't been placed, or that have no delivery yet, are left out, and a note on the report explains this.
The same export options are now available everywhere you export an order. From the order page, the orders table, and the Central Kitchen panel you can export a Packing slip (PDF), a Transport slip (PDF), or a Vendor form as CSV or Excel. Previously the CSV and Excel vendor form only worked from the order detail page. Exported files also now share a consistent naming scheme.
New Item Fulfillment view in Central Facilities
A new view focused on filling items across schools. It allows to edit or swap an item across one or more school's order in one action. Learn more.
Production Records
Production Record column templates can now be set per meal — different data-point column layouts can apply to different meals (Breakfast vs. Lunch, etc.), so each record shows the columns relevant to it.
Toggle between full column headers and abbreviations on production record print.
Totals at the top of a production record update as you type. Values you enter for Adults, Students, or Notes now stay visible immediately instead of briefly reverting to blank until you refreshed the page.
Reorder recipes on a daily production record by dragging. In the table (Manual) view you can drag a recipe row by its handle to change its order, instead of removing and re-adding it. The new order carries through to the weekly view and the printout.
Recipes
Give an ingredient a recipe-specific name. You can rename an ingredient line within a single recipe — for example "shredded carrot" on one recipe and "chopped carrot" on another — without creating a duplicate item or renaming the item everywhere. The custom name shows on the recipe, its print and export, the scaling view, and production records; the real item name still appears on hover, and nutrition, allergens, inventory, and ordering are unaffected. Account
Switch districts without admin access. If your account belongs to more than one district, a new "Switch district" option in the account menu lets you change which district you're working in. Previously only superadmins could do this.
Week of June 22, 2026
Turn off a meal that was added to a menu plan in error. Meals turned on after a menu plan is published can now also be turned back off, as long as no production records exist for them yet. Meals with production records stay locked.
The per-meal and per-school daily total columns on the PR Totals Summary Report are now opt-in. The report defaults to the original layout; use the column picker to add the new columns.
Fixed: Nutrient Analysis Report date-range filter no longer drops the first and last day of the selected range.
Fixed: weekly date displays no longer shift by a week at month boundaries on Sunday-start week views.
Week of June 8, 2026
PR Totals Summary Report now includes per-meal total and per-school daily total columns.
Directors can deactivate a vendor. Deactivated vendors are hidden from order guides and new-order flows; their history is preserved.
Standard serving size changes on a recipe now propagate to all grade groups on save.
POS transactions and reports now use a per-district time zone instead of UTC for day boundaries. Reimbursable Claims, POS Transactions, and Daily Attendance reports all respect the district time zone. The time zone is set by an admin.
Daily Attendance and Served Totals report now counts Fast Mode meals served without a student ID (UNIDENTIFIED).
POS sessions transaction count is correct when a session contains voided transactions.
POS student selector: the student list is filtered by school on the server, sorted alphabetically, and rendered with a virtualized list.
Fixed: a Central Kitchen production records crash when navigating between days.

Order panel and per-order export now show ordered, sent, and received quantities per delivery.
Central Kitchen production records are now anchored to each delivery's actual delivery date instead of the order's expected delivery date.
Week of May 25, 2026
The order page has a refreshed layout. You can now manage deliveries inline on the order page instead of opening the Manage Order dialog. A new "Edit Order" option on the kebab menu for sent orders takes the order back to editable without clearing delivery progress that's already been recorded. The order statuses now provide more details on progress.
Per-ingredient scaling factor on recipes. Each ingredient row in the recipe editor now has a "Scale ×" field, defaulting to 1. When a recipe is scaled up or down, each ingredient is multiplied by both the recipe's scaling factor and its own. This is useful when an ingredient shouldn't scale linearly with the rest of the batch — for example, setting salt to 0.2 means it grows more slowly than the other ingredients as you scale the recipe up. A small chip appears next to any ingredient that has a non-default factor on the scaling calculator and print.
Persisting Recipe Codes. The system now assigns the Gaia ID as the shortcode if no custom code is assigned when the recipe is first published. Custom Recipe Codes set are never overwritten, and once a code is in place it stays the same across future edit/republish cycles.
Fixed: Export CSV on data view tooltips. The "Export CSV" button on pantry data-view tooltips was not producing a file. It now downloads a CSV named with the date and confirms with a "CSV exported" message.
Week of May 18, 2026
You can now add new meals to an existing menu plan. Previously, all meal toggles were locked once a menu plan was created. Now meals already on the plan stay locked (to protect production records), and any meal that isn't yet on the plan can be turned on and saved.
Vendor minimum order indicator on the Orders table. When a vendor has a minimum order value set, each order row now shows the value in Red or Green to indicate its status.
Manually-created orders now appear in the Related Orders panel on Production Records. Previously the panel only showed orders generated from forecasts.
Missing order totals on the Orders table. Orders created through Shop Week or the shopping list flow now display their correct Ordered Total. Some orders had been showing a blank total.
Switch ingredient amounts between fractions and decimals in the recipe wizard. A new toggle in the Ingredients step lets you view amounts as fractions or as decimals. Your choice is remembered the next time you open the wizard.
Secondary units on recipe ingredients no longer disappear after publishing a recipe or moving between steps in the recipe wizard.
Recipe Code on Item as Recipe. The Edit dialog for an Item as Recipe now has an optional Recipe Code field. When filled in, your code replaces the auto-generated label on production record exports and reports.
Select multiple vendors on the Consolidated Orders Report. You can now pick more than one vendor when running the report, with Select All and Deselect All for quick adjustments.
Calculate Inventory data errors on production records resolved. Some users were blocked from submitting a record by a "please fill out all fields" message even though every visible field looked complete. The underlying recipe matching has been fixed so ingredient fields populate correctly and submission goes through.
Make it easier to spot missing fields on collapsed recipe rows. When a production record can't be submitted because of missing damaged or discarded values inside a collapsed recipe, that row is now outlined in orange so you can find and expand it right away.

Updates were made to USDA nutrition analysis reports, including a clearer header, a basis caption, and a new Pass/Fail column on the export. See the full guide.
Flagged ingredients are now excluded from recipe serving-size weight (for example, drained or absorbed water weight), so label weight are accurate.
Recipe and daily nutrition exports now use clearer filenames that include the recipe name and print date, making downloaded files easier to identify.
Fixed: when adding the first recipe to a draft or revision of a menu plan, it now appears right away, with no need to refresh the page.
Fixed: Ingredient status refreshes automatically after you confirm a Production Record.

You can now track shelf life and expiration dates on inventory items, making it easier to stay ahead of food waste and ensure freshness.
A new inventory transaction log gives you a complete history of all check-ins, check-outs, and adjustments, useful for audits and accountability.
When checking inventory in or out, the linked production record and order are now displayed directly on the transaction, so you always know what each movement is connected to.
When manually creating an order, zero-quantity items from your order guide are no longer added automatically, keeping orders cleaner and more accurate.
Ingredients can now be included when printing production records.
Renaming a recipe on the public menu no longer creates a new version when edited from the main page.
