When creating a flow, you might encounter an alert titled "Mixed Categories" 👇
This alert is triggered when marketing and utility templates are combined within the same flow. This creates an issue because it opens two separate conversation windows on WhatsApp. As a result, you are charged both the marketing rate and the utility rate.
To avoid this, a flow must be 100% marketing or 100% utility.
What if one of my messages doesn’t pass as utility in my utility flow?
Ensure the first template in your flow is set to utility.
This ensures the conversation starts using the utility pricing model.
Encourage clicks through the first template.
Once the customer or prospect clicks, you can use "reply" messages (green buttons).
Advantages of "Reply" Buttons:
Messages linked to green buttons are not subject to Meta’s approval, giving you flexibility.
