What map styles are available in Hauler Hero Road?

In Hauler Hero Road, we provide a range of map styles to help you better visualize your routes. Drivers can pick from each style for their route's map, right from the map itself.

This article is for drivers, and for office teams who set up and support their drivers' tablets. In this article, we'll cover:

  • What each map style looks like

  • How to change your map style

What map styles can I pick from?

  • Satellite Day -- Satellite imagery with bright roads outlined in dark, for driving in daylight.

  • Satellite Night -- Dimmed satellite imagery with brighter roads, so streets stay easy to read after dark.

  • Street Day -- A light street map without satellite imagery.

  • Street Night -- A dark street map. If your company uses turn-by-turn navigation, it also highlights truck-preferred roads.

How do I select a map style to use?

First, Day and Night mode is dictated by whether or not Night Vision Conditions in your Account menu is OFF or ON, respectively.

Next, to select between the Street or Satellite map, open the Map view after you’ve opened a route.

In the bottom-left corner of the map, you can toggle between Street (”Default”) or Satellite.
