Realync provides a great way to connect more meaningfully with your prospective and current residents. The Realync platform, both the mobile app and the web dashboard, was built to be easy to use regardless of your “tech-savviness”. The Realync team is committed to partnering with you to ensure you are confident and successful using video in your daily communications. 💯
Becoming a Champion User 🎖️
The below outline is a checklist to help you make the most of Realync, whether you’re just starting out or ready to take the next step. As you master each step, you should advance to the next until you’re a full champion user.
Just Getting Started 🏁
Just Getting Started 🏁
Start building out your library. Examples of videos to include:
Model/floor plan(s)
Community Overview
“Thank you for touring” from yourself / your team
Include relevant videos in every follow-up email/text to prospective residents who toured in person
Be sure to use your stabilizer to make the video look as polished as possible!
Stand out from your competitors by making it easy for your prospects to recall what your community looks like
Take the property mobile device to community outreach meetings to show videos of the community and models
Intermediate 🚶
Intermediate 🚶
Intermediate Realync users dedicate time on a regular basis (ideally weekly) to record new video content
Check out our 101 Video Ideas list for inspiration
Create playlists to easily share multiple videos at once
Use Live Tours & Live Sessions to connect with residents leasing sight-unseen
Help relieve the stress of not being able to visit the property before they move by allowing them to “meet” you virtually and showing them the real space
Use Tasks to keep track of video ideas and goals
Champion User 🌟
Champion User 🌟
Every time a prospect tours in person but their partner/roommate is unable to join physically, Champion Users use Live Tours to allow the partner/roommate to join virtually
Make sure that recording a video of vacant units is part of the turning process
Don’t stop with creating videos for leasing - video transforms the way they communicate with their communities, too
Create QR codes!
Champion Users use QR codes to “digitize” flyers in the elevator, business cards, sidewalk signs, etc.
We created a QR Code Template just for you!
Add a QR code to monthly newsletters that link to a video for resident events, renovation/maintenance updates, new team members, etc.
Add a QR code to your “Office Closed” sign in the window that links to a “sneak peak” playlist
Add a QR code next to amenities that can be confusing for your residents, e.g. “Having trouble starting the fire pit? Scan this QR code to see how to do it!”
Keys to Success 🔑
Keys to Success 🔑
Don’t ask for permission to include a video in the follow-up, just do it! Make it part of your standard follow-up.
When you offer a live tour, frame it as a suggestion rather than a question
Instead of, “Do you want to do a live video?” say something like, “Let’s do a live video tour so I can show you exactly what everything looks like. That way I can help answer any questions you have and you’ll feel more confident in making a decision!”
Don’t be afraid to get in front of the camera! Think about it...you’ve probably toured with walk-ins before. This is no different, except you’re using a mobile iOS device!
When sending a video, make sure to use a link for that prospect. Don’t copy a link that was used for another prospect.
