User Roles And Permissions Within SocioConnect

Each Venue within SocioConnect can have three different user roles.

By default these are split into roles fitting Headquarters Users, Marketers, and Local Users (more details on those HERE) - however each of these roles can be further customised with any mix of administration permissions that works best for your team.

Below a list of the available permissions along with descriptions of what they control.

If you would like to adjust how roles and permissions work on your account just let our support team know and we'll help you out.

Stats

Access to Social Performance, the basic level reporting feature.

Note - users restricted to certain Locations will only be able to view the statistics for those locations.

Incoming Posts

Access to the Posts screen - essentially the ability to view the content calendar without necessarily including the ability to create posts.

Channels

Access to the Channels screen - where new social media channels can be connected to/removed from the system.

Profile

The ability for the user to edit information on their personal profile within SocioConnect, fields like username, sign in email address, etc.

The ability to access the Advertising module; users with this permission will be able to run ads using connected ads accounts, or connect new ads accounts themselves.

Reputation

Access to the Reputation feature where reviews are reported and managed.

Posts Management

The ability to Create Posts for any Locations the user had permission to access.

Email Notification

Controls whether or not this user's sign in mail will receive notifications from SocioConnect - the specific notifications can be toggled later by the user themselves.

Recommended Posts

The ability to see and create content from Recommended Posts, which are AI generated posts tailored to do well in your business type.

Note - Recommended posts may not be available for your business type at this time, ask Support to find out more.

Socio BI

Access to the Business Intelligence module - this detailed reporting suite covers all channels connected to the account, and so would in most cases not be given to users who are affiliated with only one or a small number of Locations.

Inbox

Access to view the Inbox feature - with this comes the ability to read and respond to all messages, comments, and reviews directed to any Locations the user has access to.

Manage Channel Groups

A headquarter level setting - users with this permission will be able to create, edit, and delete Locations - as well as manage channel and user assignment to locations.

Location Suggested Posts

The ability to create Suggested content, post that can be viewed and used by other users but are not necessarily mandatory.

Note - This permission covers the creation of Suggested posts only, even users without this permission will be able to see and use suggested content for their own Locations.

Edit Unique Id

The ability to edit unique IDs within Locations.

Bulk Composer

Use of the Bulk Composer feature.

CP Templates Management

Permission to edit and mange the Assets folder within Content Pool - the Assets folder is used to make branded assets available to users within Image Editing.

Note - Users without this permission will still be able to view and use available Assets themselves, their changes just won't be able to make changes that affect all users.
