Video Quality

If you are experiencing choppy or poor-quality video chats, try the following:

  • PC/Laptop Users: Use a hard-wired network connection when possible.

  • Mobile Device Users: Connect via WiFi instead of a cellular connection.

  • Internet Speed Requirement: A minimum speed of 5 Mbps up and down is needed for a good chat experience.

No Video

If your video is not working:

  • Test Your Device: Run a device check here .

  • Check Webcam Access: Ensure Webcam Access protection is turned off.

  • Anti-Virus Settings: Confirm your anti-virus software supports webcam access.

Please check to see if Webcam Access protection is turned off and if your anti-virus program/software supports it.

Video Chat Connectivity Issues

If you cannot join a video chat session while another participant (e.g., a patient) is already connected:

  • Update Your Web Browser: Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version.

    • Outdated browsers may lack features or security updates required for video chat.

  • Attempt Reconnection:

    • Close your browser completely.

    • Reopen it and try joining the video chat session again.
