If you have multiple stops to assign to (or sometimes unassign from) specific routes, this article’s for you.
How do I assign unassigned stops to a specific route?
There are few places in Hauler Hero you can do this from; they all will bring you to the same dialog:
Customer Profile > Services > Routing & Work Orders > 3-dot menu on each work order
Configured Service Detail view > Map & Routing > Routing > Sequence and Route
As well as from the Route Manager’s Board or List view. We’ll continue with this path for this article.
First, click the blue Bulk Button on the Route Manager Board or List view, then click “Assign Stops.”
Select what date of stops you want to assign.
Select the route you want to assign unassigned stops to on the right, followed by the unassigned stops themselves on the left. After you’ve selected which stops you want to assign to this route, click “Assign.”
Take note that when you see this prompt on the map, you can select/unselect stops on the map directly instead of checking them off.
Specify how you want to sequence these selected stops in your destination route.
Reset Sequence — Will place the routes you selected at the top of your destination route.
Preserve Sequence — Will place the routes you selected at the Starting Position you specify on your destination route.
If you accidentally assign a stop, or you change your mind on what stops you want to assign to the destination route, you can check those stops off on the right and click “Move” to move them back to the Unassigned list. You can only move unassigned stops back and forth.
Once you’re satisfied with what unassigned stops you want to assign to the destination route and the order of them, click:
Save Current Day — To save the destination route and its new stop order to just that current day’s instance of the route (you can check what date you’re on at the top right corner, above the map.
Save Permanent — To save the destination route and its new stop order to that current day and all future instances of that route.
Edit Master Sequence — To not save anything yet and to be taken to the Master Sequence view to continue your reordering needs.
How do I unassign assigned stops on a specific route?
First, click the blue Bulk Button on the Route Manager Board or List view, then click “Unassign Stops.”
Select what route’s stops you want to unassign stops from.
The Bulk Unassign is essentially the reverse of the Bulk Assign dialog above.
Select which stops you want to unassign.
And, if you accidentally click or change your mind on what to unassign, you can move them back (”reassign them”) back to their original route.
When moving them back, they will return to their original order in that route.
Once you’re satisfied with what assigned stops you want to unassign from the original route, click:
Save Current Day — To save the original route and its new stop order to just that current day’s instance of the route (you can check what date you’re on at the top right corner, above the map.
Save Permanent — To save the original route and its new stop order to that current day and all future instances of that route.
Edit Master Sequence — To not save anything yet and to be taken to the Master Sequence view to continue your reordering needs.
