What do I do if my route is out of order?

This article is for haulers who need help fixing routes that are out of their intended order.

Why are my routes out of order?

On June 16, 2026, we resolved an issue with work order generation that had contributed to unexpected changes in the ordering of daily routes with respect to a route’s Master. Because daily routes can be intentionally adjusted by your team, we have preserved them rather than automatically overwritten them.

The underlying cause was resolved with an enhanced route sequencing engine, and the associated issue has not recurred.

One or more of my routes was affected, how do I fix it?

In most cases, the fix is simply to resync your daily routes with your Master route. Your Master route is your long-term route template; each day’s route is created from that template, allowing you to make temporary adjustments without changing the permanent (the “default”) route.

But before that, you’ll want to make sure your Master route’s order is correct. You can find the resync button right above the list of stops in that route.

  • If your Master is correct, go ahead and resync any daily routes you need to fix to match it.

  • If not, you’ll need to fix your Master first, publish your changes, and then resync any daily routes you need to fix.

How do I fix unexpected sequences in my route’s Master?

You can do so:

  • Manually via the Map or Board views in Master Sequence

  • By importing a driver’s sequence from a given day

  • By restoring from Activity History

To update your Master route manually, either through the Board view or Map view:

Both the Map and Board view have the same means of moving and reordering stops.

1. Select the route you want to update.

2. If you want to add a stop that is not currently on the route, select its current location in the dropdown (it will either be unassigned or in another route), select the stop, specify its order in the route, then click “Permanent” to update your Master route accordingly.

3. If you want to adjust the order of the stops in the Master, you can click and drag stops to reorder them.

To import a driver’s sequence from a given day:

To restore a route to a past version of it via Activity History:

In Master Sequence, after selecting one of your routes from the dropdown, you can review both the Master Route’s changelog (Master Activity) and a given day’s route’s changelog (Daily Activity).

You can also click the “Restore” icon next to a given set of changes to revert your route’s Master or a specific Daily route to what that route’s stops and order was before that change.

When restoring a past version of a route, you can also update future daily routes to match as well as pull back any stops that this route used to have.
