Disposal stops are trips to a dump or transfer station that sit on a route between your customers’ locations. Adding them in Route Manager keeps your routes realistic and lets your drivers see when to dump their hauls. You can create both recurring or as-needed disposal stops.

Create a recurring disposal stop to their master route
Add a one-off disposal stop to a single day
Delete a disposal stops

Before we start
Make sure you’ve set up your disposal sites and accepted materials, as well as chosen a default disposal site. For reference:
Ensure you’re on the latest version of our Route Manager. Reach out to Support via the chat bubble or support@haulerhero.com if you want to add disposal stops and don’t see the Add Event button on your Route Manager.
How do I add a recurring disposal stop
From a route’s Master Sequence, go to the day of week you want to add your recurring stop for.
On that day’s column, click Add Event > Disposal Stop.
Choose the disposal site (your default disposal site will be selected), where in the route it should be positioned (the top, a specific position, or at the end), and how often it should repeat (weekly or every other week starting on a specific week).
Click Create Stop to create your recurring disposal stop.
How do I add a disposal stop for just one day?
In Route Manager, locate your desired route’s card, then click Add Event > Disposal Stop.
Select your disposal site and its position in your route for that day.
You may check Log a Ticket to log a disposal ticket now; you’ll need its ticket number, arrival and departure time, and its materials and disposal fees.
Click Create Stop to create your disposal stop.
How do I delete a disposal stop?
On daily routes, click the stop’s X icon from the Route Manager.
Similarly for master routes, click the stop’s X icon from the Master Sequence view.
Do disposal stops bill my customer?
No, disposal stops aren’t tied to a customer or work order specifically, so nothing is invoiced from them.
What if something doesn’t look right?
I don’t see the Add Event button
Reach out to Support and we can process a request to get it added to your account.
“Disposal sites could not be loaded”
Your user’s role likely needs permissions granted. Ask an admin to grant it.
“Disposal stop added, but couldn’t be moved into position”
The stop will be added to the top of your route; drag it into position.
