Illinois Shines Integration: Simplify Solar Incentive Compliance

The new Illinois Shines integration brings government-required solar disclosures into SubcontractorHub, helping teams configure Shines requirements and generate completed documents directly from proposals.

Admin — More Control, Cleaner Workflows

New admin tools make onboarding simpler, give teams more control over proposal settings, and streamline financial project management.

  • Organization onboarding updates — move the mandatory Sales Info step from Organisation Details to the onboarding page, with Seamless Organization and Annual Revenue fields now included.

  • Automatic account value calculation — estimated annual account value is calculated using estimated monthly projects and platforms. For Seamless organizations, projects and estimated monthly projects are excluded from the calculation.

Proposal & Pricing Controls

  • Gutter quoting — add Gutter or Others as scopes for Home Improvement proposals. Gutter requires a design tool selection, while Others does not.

Finance & Payments

  • Payabli integration — Payabli replaces Stripe as the payment gateway for organizations, with corresponding updates to the payment interface.

Sales Velocity — Build Proposals With More Flexibility

Updates that give sales teams more control over design tools, financing options, and Water Purification proposals.

Proposals & Design

  • Design Tool tab for copied proposals — when creating a change order or copying a solar proposal without financing, the Design Tool tab now appears alongside Financing and Equipment.

  • Dual Financing for Solar Jobs — finance the discount and prepaid amount provided through Maxwell Power with a secondary finance provider while selecting panels, inverters, and batteries. This is available for the new proposal flow and Solar job type only.

  • Simplified proposal flow — the Preferences tab has been removed, while package prices and the total package price are now displayed directly.

  • Separated packages and adders — packages and adders now have dedicated areas, with Summary renamed to Pricing and Adders moved to a separate tab.

  • Simpler package configuration — Water Purification configuration is managed through the database instead of AI-generated packages or editing packages directly inside proposals.

  • Water Purification job type — Water Purification is now available as a job type under Preferences.
