In Chariot, you can pre-assign movers to jobs in advance while keeping those assignments hidden, which can be a valuable tool for dispatchers. This feature allows for strategic planning and scheduling adjustments without setting premature expectations for movers. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to hide and unhide jobs in Chariot.
Hiding a Job
Navigate to the Job Schedule (Day View)
Click on the job you'd like to hide.
Select the "Hide" option.
The hidden job will appear in grey with lines through it, accompanied by an eyeball icon with a line through it.
From the Mover's View
When a mover, such as Omar Little, checks their schedule, the hidden job is not visible.
This feature proves useful for day-of changes or when you want to delay revealing job assignments until necessary.
Strategic Planning
Dispatchers can use this feature days in advance to plan mover assignments and hours.
Hide jobs until the day or two before when you're ready to inform your crews.
