How Cuttable Generates Brand Ads

A simple explanation of the logic behind how our system turns your brief into strong brand ads.

Written by Joe Mutimer

Overview

Brand Ads uses a unified creative process that reads your brief, applies your tone of voice, and uses your assets to create clear, on brand ad concepts. Strategy, ideas, and copywriting all happen together so each execution stays focused and consistent.

How the brief is used

Your brief is the primary source. The system identifies the audience, the unique value proposition, the campaign goal, and any restrictions. Background brand details are used only for context. The ads always speak to the specific audience about the specific value in the brief.

Tone of voice

The system follows the tone of voice you provide. It learns from good examples, avoids patterns from bad examples, and adapts the language to suit the audience. The brand tone sets the personality, while the audience determines vocabulary and cultural references.

Ideas and assets

Ideas are created from the brief and then refined using the assets you upload. The system selects assets that best support each idea and avoids anything that does not fit. It aims for clear variety, strong visual quality, and natural connections between idea and footage.

Writing the copy

Copy is brief, clear, and specific to your brand. It does not repeat the value proposition directly. Instead, it shows the benefit through simple scenarios or outcomes. The writing must make sense instantly, sound natural when read aloud, and avoid generic marketing patterns.

Creative variety

The system ensures each execution feels different. It varies tone, structure, length, and asset choice. If any idea feels repetitive, it is adjusted so the final set has meaningful variety.

Quality check

Before finalizing, the system confirms that each execution meets the brief, uses only the provided assets, matches your tone of voice, is immediately understandable, and communicates the value clearly without copying the brief verbatim.

Video editing (when videos are included)

If you upload videos, the system selects short clips that support the idea. It creates a simple visual flow, uses only real timestamps, checks for consistency, and keeps the total length between 6 and 15 seconds. It favors clips that hook quickly and work well on mobile with sound off.

Result

Brand Ads produces a set of clear, varied, and on brand executions that reflect your audience, your message, and your visual assets in a simple and cohesive way.
