Summary
You can delete an in-progress chat from Recent Drafts. This article explains how, and what happens afterward.
What is Recent Drafts
Recent Drafts is the list of in-progress Make Ads chats shown at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar, covering briefs you have started but not yet finished generating into ads.
How to delete a chat from Recent Drafts
Open Recent Drafts in the left-hand sidebar.
Hover over the chat you want to remove.
Select the delete (trash) icon.
Confirm Delete draft? when prompted.
Right after you delete a chat, an Undo option appears in a toast at the bottom of the screen. Select it immediately if you deleted the wrong chat. If you miss the Undo toast, contact Cuttable support and our team can look into recovering it, since deleting a chat is a soft delete rather than an instant permanent one.
What happens when you delete a chat
Deleting a chat removes it from Recent Drafts for everyone who has access to that account, not just the person who deleted it. Deleting a chat does not affect any ads you have already generated and published from other briefs.
Recent Drafts limits
Recent Drafts only shows your 5 most recent in-progress chats. A chat drops off this list on its own once you finish it, turning it into ads, or once it is pushed out by newer in-progress chats, even without deleting it.
