Organise Your Ads by moving ads into a new or existing ad group, or by moving a whole ad group to a new location. This keeps related ads together and makes Your Ads easier to navigate.
How to move ads to a new ad group
To move one or more ads out of their current ad group and into a brand new ad group:
Go to Your Ads.
Open the ad group that contains the ads you want to move.
Hover over each ad and select the checkbox to select the ads you want to move. You can select one ad or multiple ads at once.
Select Move in the bar at the top of the page.
Select Create new group.
Enter a name for the new ad group and confirm.
The selected ads are removed from their original ad group and moved into the new ad group.
How to move ads to an existing ad group
You can also move ads into an ad group you already have, instead of creating a new one.
Open the ad group that contains the ads you want to move.
Hover over each ad and select the checkbox to select the ads you want to move.
Select Move in the bar at the top of the page.
Choose the destination ad group from the list.
Confirm the move.
The selected ads are removed from their original ad group and added to the destination ad group.
How to move a whole ad group
You are not limited to moving individual ads. You can move an entire ad group, which moves every ad inside it at once.
Go to Your Ads.
Select the checkbox on the ad group you want to move.
Select Move in the bar at the top of the page.
Choose an existing destination, or select Create new group to make a new one.
Confirm the move.
Moving ads and ad groups by drag and drop
Instead of using the Move bar, you can drag and drop an ad or an ad group directly onto the ad group you want to move it into.
Keeping track of what's in each ad group
Each ad group card in Your Ads shows how many ads it contains, so you can see the size of a group before you open it.

Does moving an ad remove it from its original ad group?
Yes, moving an ad removes it from its original ad group and places it in the destination ad group. If you want to keep a copy of the ad in the original ad group, duplicate the ad first, then move the duplicate.
