Use this page to fix the most common problems in Sites. Each section names the message or symptom you see, then how to fix it.

If an import fails, click Copy diagnostic info on the import screen and paste it into your message to Giraffe support.
Sites tabs show a lock icon
Find sites, Pipeline, Upload, and Tasks are available on the Enterprise plan. On other plans, these tabs show a lock icon and an upgrade message. The Projects tab works on every plan.
"Add an Anthropic credential in Settings to use AI chat"
Giraffe AI, site search, and PDF import need an Anthropic credential.
Click the Settings icon in the Sites tab bar.
Under API credentials, pick a credential for Anthropic.
Your credential choice saves in your browser only. Each teammate picks their own, and you pick again on a new browser or computer.
No credentials show in Settings
Sites lists the credentials saved in your Giraffe account. If the list is empty, add a credential in Giraffe under User → Credentials. Then return to Sites Settings and click Refresh credentials.
"Anthropic credential is invalid"
The Anthropic credential you picked was rejected. Check the key in Giraffe under User → Credentials, or pick a different credential in Sites Settings.
US site search or address lookup doesn't work
US parcels come from Regrid. Check both of these in Sites Settings:
Parcel source is set to Regrid (US parcels).
A Regrid credential is picked under API credentials.
Giraffe AI says there are too many steps
Giraffe AI takes up to 5 steps for each message. Break a large request into smaller messages, such as one message to find sites and another to group the Pipeline.
You can't type a new message to Giraffe AI
Giraffe AI is waiting for you to approve a change. Click Apply or Cancel on the Confirm card to continue.
A project is missing from Projects or the Pipeline
Check each of these:
The scope bar shows Match map filter. Click Show all to show every project in the Space.
A filter is set on the Pipeline. Click Filter and then Clear all.
The project's column is hidden. Click Show all in the Hidden bar.
Cold only is on in the Pipeline.
The Space's Portfolio Layer filters leave the project out.
The project was deleted in Sites. Deleting in Sites hides the project in Sites only. It stays in your Giraffe workspace.
"This project is no longer available"
The project was deleted, or you no longer have access to it. Ask the project's owner or an admin to share it with you.
A field won't save
If a save fails, Sites shows "Couldn't save" and puts the old value back. Try the change again.
Some fields can't be edited, such as the project id, parcel fields, and fields whose names start with an underscore.
Saving several sites created fewer projects
When some projects fail to save, Sites shows how many it created and how many failed. Select the sites that failed and save them again.
Addresses couldn't be found during import
Sites lists each address it couldn't match, with the reason.
Couldn't find this address: write the address in full, with the city, state, and postcode. Click Edit, fix it, and retry.
Multiple matches: add more detail, such as the postcode.
Rate-limited: wait. The import pauses and resumes on its own.
Login expired: sign back in to Giraffe and retry.
US addresses also need a Regrid credential in Sites Settings.
An import pauses
An import that shows throttled resumes on its own after a short wait. An import that shows offline resumes when your internet connection returns.
An import doesn't start
Sites locates Australian or US addresses. Put Australian and US addresses in separate CSV files and import each file on its own.
A file won't upload
Sites accepts .csv, .tsv, and .pdf files. A CSV can be up to 50 MB. A PDF can be up to 20 MB.
You can't delete an attachment
Sites adds attachments and can't remove them. Open the project in Giraffe to remove an attachment.
An @ in a note isn't a tag
@ tags work in tasks only. Add the item as a task to tag it.
A deal shows a Cold badge
A Cold badge appears after 30 days with no movement. Move the deal to another stage or update the project to clear it.
