REISift Navigation

Start by exploring our dashboard. It's crucial to know your way around REISift and understand where to find help if you have any questions.

First Steps

Now that you're familiar with navigating the dashboard and know where to seek assistance, let's dive into the initial steps to set up your account.

  1. Add Your Team

Invite your team to your REISift account and assign user permissions that best fit their roles.

Learn how to add a user and understand user permissions by clicking here.

  2. Add Lists and Tags

What is the difference between lists and tags?

Lists serve as designated spaces for your records. Each list type should have a single, high-level name in REISift. For example, all Probate records should be consistently uploaded to one specific Probate list.

Tags, on the other hand, are used to track the 4 Ws of data management. They provide insights into the records' history. It's essential to use tags to mark a record's journey, including its origin, present location, and significant events. Examples of tags include 'Date uploaded', 'Source' of the data, and 'Skip trace' tags

  3. Upload Some Data

    Time to upload some data!

  4. Set Up Your Integrations

Now that your data is in the system, explore integration options with our top-notch partners. Discover who they are and how to connect your account in our Integrations Overview article.

Tasks

In REISift, tasks are essential for streamlining your operations. They enable you to:

  • Handle hand off between roles

  • Follow Up with Leads

  • Follow Up with Not Interested

  • Reminders to complete daily or weekly Tasks

To optimize task management in REISift, we offer two key features: Task Presets and Recurring Tasks.

Recurring Tasks

A recurring task is a task that will repeat at the interval selected. You will navigate to the Tasks Page and select Create New task. One example of a recurring task would be to Check your Skip Trace Filter weekly and skip trace those records. Find out more about recurring tasks here: How to Create Tasks

Task Presets

A task preset is a saved task that can be assigned to property records manually or through automations. This is very useful as it makes assigning tasks quicker than creating a new task each time one is needed and provides consistency so that each time a task is assigned it has the same name and settings. A great first task preset for most users is a Call New Lead Task.

First Navigate to the Tasks Page and select Configure Presets. You will need to first create a task group. In this example we will create a group called Lead Management

Once you have created a Task group, click Add New Preset to create the Call New Lead task preset.

Find out more about creating tasks here.

Marketing Flow

Next, it’s time to set up a super simple marketing flow. To do this we will utilize filter presets. A filter preset is a saved set of filter criteria, this way you don’t have to manually filter by this criteria every time. Instead you can apply the saved filter preset.

First, navigate to the Records page and then click Filter Records. Then click view presets. We will first create a folder to store the filter presets in. Click Create New Folder and name the folder “Example Marketing Flow” and choose the permissions. Remember, this is just one way to set up a marketing flow, you should adapt to your market needs.

We will create 3 filters today. Below, will be the filter criteria for these three filters. Click here to find out more about saving filter presets.

Sales and Lead Management

Now that you have a marketing flow set up, let’s talk about how take care of the new leads that are generated. First we will set up a SiftLine board and then a sequence to tie it all together.

SiftLine is our Kanban board solution in REISift. This board view allows you to have a birds eye view of your processes. SiftLine boards are fully customizable. Read more about them here. In this example, we will create one board to handle the lead and sale process from new lead all the way through the deal closing. However, keep in mind this is just to show you how to utilize SiftLine. Many users create separate boards for phases of the sales and lead process.

Sequences

Sequences are automations in REISift. In this training we will create one sequence. The New Lead Sequence is the first sequence for many users. This sequence will be used to ensure that when a status is changed to new lead in REISift a set of actions takes place. In this case, a task will be assigned and the property will be added to the SiftLine board created in the previous step.

Read all about sequences here.
