Create PostNord return labels directly from yayloh, with QR codes in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Before you start
A PostNord business account, with the countries you want to offer returns from.
QR codes activated in your PostNord account, if you want to offer them.
Your warehouse set up under Settings > Stores & warehouses. You'll choose it when you create the route.
Admin access to yayloh.
Step 1: Get your credentials
You need two things from PostNord:
Account ID: a number. If you're not sure which one to use, check with your logistics partner or PostNord.
API key: create one in the PostNord developer portal (see below).
Create a PostNord API key
Open the PostNord developer portal and click Log in.
Sign up, or log in with the email address registered with PostNord.
Click Apps in the side menu.
Under applications, click Create a new application.
Fill in a name and description for yayloh, and submit the request.
When the page refreshes, copy the API key.
Stuck? PostNord's support team can help you with the developer portal.
Step 2: Add PostNord as a carrier
Go to Settings > Carriers & Routes and open the Carriers tab.
Click Add carrier, enter a name (for example "PostNord"), and choose POSTNORD as the carrier company.
Under Credentials, enter your ACCOUNT_ID and API_KEY.
Step 3: Create a route
In the Routes tab, click Add route and choose your PostNord carrier under Use.
Under Allow returns from, choose the countries enabled in your PostNord account. yayloh can only create labels for those countries.
Choose your Default warehouse.
Open Specifications and fill in the fields below.
Field | What to enter |
SERVICE_NAME (required) | Your PostNord return service, for example |
LABEL_TYPE |
|
PAPERLESS | Turn on for paperless customs documents. |
ACCOUNT_COUNTRY | The country your PostNord account belongs to. |
DOMESTIC_ROUTE_OUTSIDE_ACCOUNT_COUNTRY | Turn on for domestic returns in another country than your account's. For example, with a Norwegian PostNord account, Swedish customers can return to an address in Sweden. |
QR codes: PostNord QR codes work in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Finland needs PDF labels. Create one route with QR for Sweden, Denmark and Norway, and a separate route with PDF for Finland and other countries.
Step 4: Save and test
Click Apply changes, then create a test label on the Labels page.
Good to know
Labels only work for countries enabled in your PostNord account. To add a country, contact PostNord first.
Domestic returns outside your account country: check with PostNord that your agreement covers returns in that country.
