Choose which carrier creates your return labels, and for which countries. Go to Settings > Carriers & Routes. Only retailer admins can make changes.
How it works
Carriers tab: connect your carrier account with your credentials.
Routes tab: decide which carrier handles returns from which countries.
Specifications: set the carrier-specific details inside each route, such as the service, parcel weight and size, paperless customs, and QR code or PDF label.
How yayloh picks a route
yayloh checks your routes by Rule priority, lowest number first.
The first route that allows the customer's country creates the label.
If that label fails, yayloh tries the route's Fallback route, if you've set one.
Example: Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Both use country code GB, but Northern Ireland follows EU customs rules. Create a GB route with DHL Express paperless, and set DHL Express without paperless as its fallback.
Shipping logic: returns based on the delivery carrier
For returns from outside the EU, yayloh can match the return carrier to the delivery carrier. For example, an order delivered by DHL gets a DHL return label. Contact us to set this up.
Before you start
Set up your warehouses under Settings > Stores & warehouses. Each route sends returns to one of them. See Setting Up Multiple Warehouses.
Set it up
1. Add your carrier
In the Carriers tab, click Add carrier and fill in:
Carrier name: any name, for example "PostNord Sweden".
Carrier company: your carrier, or your shipping tool (nShift, Webshipper or Sendcloud).
Credentials: see the guide for your carrier below.
2. Create a route
In the Routes tab, click Add route and fill in:
Route name: any name, for example "DHL Express GB".
Use: the carrier name from step 1.
Allow returns from: the countries this route covers. Or choose a Region, such as EU, and remove single countries under Exclude countries.
Default warehouse: where returns are sent, from the warehouses in Settings > Stores & warehouses.
Rule priority: lower numbers are checked first.
Fallback route: optional, used if this route's label fails.
3. Fill in the specifications
Open Specifications and fill in the required fields (*). The fields depend on your carrier, and can include:
Service: the carrier service name or code.
Parcel details: such as weight and box size.
Paperless customs: on or off.
LABEL_TYPE:
QRorPDF, in capital letters.SHIPPING_COMPANY: the actual carrier, if you use nShift, Webshipper or Sendcloud.
One route per set of specifications. Not every carrier service offers QR codes in every country. For example, Bring offers QR codes in Sweden but PDF labels in Finland, so you need a Bring Sweden route with QR and a separate Bring Finland route with PDF.
4. Save and test
Click Apply changes. Nothing is saved until you do.
Create a test label on the Labels page. See Generate return label and commercial invoice on demand.
To test a paperless route, use a return request with an item that has an HS code and a value of at least 1.

Troubleshooting
"No default route found": no route allows the customer's country. Add the country to a route, or check your excluded countries.
