You can quickly create and log into your Darkroom account using your existing Google account. However, there are two important details you should know before choosing this method:
1. Your Automatic Username
When you sign up via Google, our system bypasses the custom username screen and automatically generates a temporary username based on your email address.
What to do: To make sure your shop URL looks professional (e.g.,
yourname.darkroom.com), head straight to your Account Settings page immediately after logging in to customize it.
2. Want to switch to a regular password later?
If you originally signed up with Google but later decide you want a traditional password to log in, you can easily set one up by following these steps:
Log out of your Darkroom account.
Head to the Sign In page and click the Forgot Password link.
Enter the exact Gmail address associated with your Google account.
Check your email for our secure reset link, and use it to create a new password.
Once complete, you can seamlessly use either your new password or the "Sign in with Google" button to access your account moving forward!
