Database and web application changes were released in March 2022 to enhance the Find a Voter search functionality, include more voter information when looking up a voter record, and apply a new filter for screening phone numbers in the FTC's National Do Not Call Registry for Basic Counts and Advanced Counts.

Tools: Find a Voter

New indexed-search fields

Voter Name: use voter's full or partial first and last name in one search field

Address: use the voter's full or partial Primary (registered) or Secondary (mailing) Address

Birthday: use the voter's birth month and birth day for list of matching voters

Voter Details

Sex Source: displays if voter's gender was provided from voter file or consumer data source

Date of Birth Source: displays if voter's birth date was provided from voter file or consumer data source

Do Not Call: displays if the voter's phone number is listed on the FTC National Do Not Call Registry (see below)

Custom Districts: displays assigned Custom Districts, including New Map and Previous Map Custom Districts from 2022 redistricting.

Tools: Basic Counts / Advanced Counts

Voter Info > Has Phone > Exclude Do Not Call Phones

Add this criteria to filter voter lists for records listed on the FTC National Do Not Call Registry. While political calls are allowed for registered phone numbers, filtered records can be used to enhance phone contact lists. Separate Home Phone DNC and Cell Phone DNC fields are provided in Phone List exports to identify DNC phone numbers.
