Configure Proration for Account Suspensions - Billing Profiles

Control whether customers are billed for services during a suspension period, giving you flexibility in managing your billing policies.

  1. Navigate to Settings, then select Billing.

  2. From the billing menu on the left, click Billing Profiles.

  3. Select the specific billing profile you wish to edit from the list.

  4. On the Edit Customer Billing Profile page, scroll down to the Advanced section.

  1. Under the Suspensions heading, locate the Proration setting.

  2. Choose your desired billing behavior:

Tips

For any billing profiles created before this feature was updated (March 20, 2026), the Proration setting defaults to ON. All new billing profiles you create will default to OFF. While this setting establishes a rule for the entire billing profile, you can still override it on an individual customer's account.
