"Merging" usually means one of two things, and both are handled by support rather than from the dashboard. Neither one touches your mailboxes or domains: they keep their settings, warm-up history and reputation, and nothing gets recreated. Contact us via live chat or help@realmaildoso.com with the details listed below and we'll do the rest.
Two Maildoso accounts (two different login emails) and you want everything under one of them — see Situation 1.
Several subscriptions on the same account and you want a single plan and a single bill — see Situation 2.
Situation 1: you have two Maildoso accounts and want one
This happens more often than you'd think: the Stripe checkout was completed with a different email than the one you log in with, a colleague signed up separately, a plan was bought on the wrong email, or a second account was created by accident during signup. Each of these creates a separate account record on our side, and a subscription always belongs to exactly one account.
What we can move between accounts
Subscriptions (mailbox plans and domain plans) — re-attached to the account you keep, so they show up in its Subscriptions page and are billed there.
Domains — moved as an internal account-to-account transfer. No unlocking, no EPP/auth codes: those are only needed when a domain leaves Maildoso for another registrar.
Mailboxes — moved together with their domains, with warm-up progress and reputation intact. If you only want the domains moved, delete the mailboxes on them first (or tell us to) and say so in your request.
In most cases we move everything from the secondary account into your main one so you end up with a single login, a single dashboard and a single billing view. Simple moves are usually completed the same working day.
What to send us
Both account emails, and which one you want to keep as the main account.
What to move: everything, or a specific list of domains / subscriptions.
Whether the other account should be deleted afterwards or left as an empty account (either is fine).
Proof that you control the account the subscription is currently on: write to us from the email that is on that account, or, if you no longer have access to it, send the last 4 digits of the card on file and the email the payment was made from. We may also ask you to confirm the billing address on the invoice. This protects your domains and mailboxes from being moved by someone who shouldn't have them. See Changing your account login email for the full verification rules; if the account is moving to a different person or company, that's an ownership transfer with an extra review step.
If the second account has a duplicate subscription bought by mistake (for example, you were charged twice a few minutes apart), include the receipt or invoice number of the charge you don't want, and we'll cancel that subscription and refund it.
Before we move anything: make sure the main account has room
The account you keep needs enough mailbox slots and domain slots to hold everything being moved. If the target account has no active subscription, moved domains won't be visible there; if its plan doesn't include domain slots, the account will go over its limit and mailboxes will eventually stop working. We check this before moving and will tell you if a subscription needs to come across too, or if you should add slots first (see Adding more mailboxes to your plan).
Paid, but the plan landed on a different account?
If you paid through a Stripe link or checkout using an email that differs from your login email, the subscription is attached to a separate record and your dashboard shows "No subscriptions yet" (0 mailboxes, 0 domains). This is the same fix: send us the invoice or receipt number and the email you actually log in with, and we'll link the subscription to that account. There's no need to pay again — see I paid but my subscription isn't showing in my account. If someone else is going to pay for your plan, ask them to use your login email at checkout, and contact us if it still doesn't appear.
Subscriptions under a colleague's email
If your team has bought plans under several emails, we can link them so that everything shows in one dashboard, or move them all to one account. If you're seeing charges that don't appear in your billing portal, ask us for a full list of active subscriptions across all your emails — we'll send it and cancel or merge whatever you don't need.
Situation 2: several subscriptions on one account, and you want a single plan
Buying an add-on or a second package creates a separate subscription on your account rather than changing the existing one. That's fine on its own: your total allowance is simply the sum of all active subscriptions, and each renews on its own date. The reasons people ask us to consolidate are usually a cleaner bill, one renewal date, or getting a volume-tier price.
Good to know about pricing: there is no automatic repricing. Adding mailboxes to a small plan doesn't move your existing mailboxes to the cheaper per-mailbox rate of a bigger tier, and buying a bigger tier doesn't automatically cancel the smaller plan. If you want the tier price (for example the 300-mailbox plan at $225/month), the right move is to switch to that plan and retire the old one — which is exactly what consolidation does. See How much do SMTP mailboxes cost? Volume pricing tiers.
How we consolidate subscriptions
You tell us the plan you want to end up on (for example "300 mailboxes, monthly") and which subscriptions should be folded into it.
We work out the unused remaining value of each old subscription: its daily rate multiplied by the days left until its next renewal.
That amount becomes a credit towards the new plan. We create the new subscription and charge your saved payment method for the difference (new plan price minus credit). If the card is declined, we send a payment link for the full plan price instead, and the credit is applied to your next renewal.
We cancel the old subscriptions. Your new plan starts immediately, and its renewal date is one billing cycle from that day.
We'll confirm the numbers with you before charging anything. Your mailboxes and domains are not affected at any point: a plan is an allowance of slots, not a fixed list of mailboxes, so existing mailboxes keep sending and warming throughout.
Prefer to do part of it yourself?
You can buy the bigger plan from Billing → Packages & Add-ons first, then ask us to cancel the old subscription and credit its remaining value. Please don't cancel the old subscription before the new one is active: when a subscription ends, its slots are removed, and a downsize removes mailboxes automatically (you can't choose which). See Deleting, replacing, reducing, or cancelling mailboxes and domains.
Overpaid during the switch?
If the two subscriptions together cost more than the plan you wanted, we merge them into that plan and put the difference on your account as a credit against future renewals. We default to credit rather than a refund because payment-processing fees are deducted from refunds, so the credit leaves you slightly better off. If you'd still prefer a refund, ask — the usual refund policy applies.
Domains, and mixed SMTP + Google Workspace plans
Domains stay on their own yearly subscription and are not folded into the mailbox plan. When we consolidate your mailbox plans, the domain subscription keeps its own renewal date; if an old bundle included domains, we create a separate domain subscription so the domains stay registered. See Understanding your bill.
SMTP and Google Workspace mailboxes can sit on one monthly plan and one invoice; they appear as separate line items because they're priced differently.
What you'll see afterwards
The old subscriptions show as Cancelled (or wind down to their end date) on your Subscriptions page; the new plan shows as active.
Stripe doesn't support combining subscriptions, so you may still receive automatic renewal emails for $0 from the old subscriptions until they finish their cycle. Nothing is charged — they're just the old records closing out.
Your invoice history may still list old billing profiles from earlier checkouts. They're inactive; see Invoices and receipts if you need a clean set of documents.
If you'd like a breakdown of what will be charged and when over the coming months after a change like this, just ask and we'll send it.
Request checklist
To get either move done in one go, send us:
The account email(s) involved and the one to keep.
What should move or be merged (everything / specific domains / specific subscriptions), and the plan you want to end up on.
Verification: a message from the email on the account, or the last 4 card digits plus the payment email.
Anything to cancel, delete or refund afterwards (receipt/invoice numbers help).
