Inactive values are removed from new dropdown selections while previously saved values remain visible with an “(inactive)” label. This helps maintain historical project data without allowing inactive options to be selected again.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: From the main menu, go to “Database” under “Manage Database”.
Step 2: Click “Stages” and go to “Global Value Sets”.
Step 3: Click “Add”.
Step 4: Give your value set a “Label” and add the required dropdown options. Use the toggle beside each option to set it as Active or Inactive, then click “Save.”

How to Set the Global Value Sets in Project Fields?
Step 1: Go to “Project Fields & Stages” then click “Fields”.
Note: This flow will work only if you have enabled it from the settings.
Step 2: If the field type is set to Dropdown, you can select Choose from Global Value Sets under Dropdown Options to link a Global Value Set to that field. This allows you to use predefined values instead of adding options manually.
Note: Duplicate handling has been added to identify and manage duplicate options more efficiently. 100% matches (exact duplicates) are flagged using color coding, while 60% matches (potential duplicates) are highlighted for review. During CSV uploads, the system also identifies duplicate options and allows you to choose whether to include or exclude them.
