How To Add Job Stage Inputs

Why This Matters

Job Stage Inputs are custom fields added to a specific job stage. These inputs define what information must be completed at that stage before a project can move forward, helping teams capture the right information at every stage of the project.

What You'll Need

  • Admin access to SubcontractorHub.

  • A web browser (Chrome or Edge recommended).

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Go to "Manage Database" and click "Database."

Step 2

Navigate to the "Stages" section and select the appropriate job stage where you want to add input fields.

Step 3

Click the "Edit" icon next to the selected job stage.

Step 4

Scroll down to "Job Stage Inputs" and click "+Add."

Step 5

Enter the "Label" for your new input field.

Step 6

Set the "Is Required" condition.

  • Select "Yes" to make the field mandatory.

  • Select "No" to make it optional.

Step 7

Choose the appropriate "Input Type" (such as text, dropdown, or file upload).

Note: For file-type Job Stage Inputs, you can control who can view uploaded files.

  • Select "Public" to make files visible to all users.

  • Select "Private" and assign specific roles to restrict access.

Step 8

In the Predefined Service Values field, select the service values you want this input to listen to.

Note: When a service provider uploads an attachment tagged with this predefined service value, the system will automatically update this input field based on that upload. This automation reduces manual data entry and ensures consistent information capture.

Note: Now you can hide Job stage inputs from specific users by selecting from the dropdown as shown in the screenshot below.

Note: A Canceled job stage has been added. In addition to the existing job input stages, you can now manually configure and assign custom job input stages specifically for canceled jobs.

Note: The "Deleted" filter has been added to the Job Stage Inputs page. Selecting it displays all deleted values.

How to Restore Deleted Job Stage Inputs?

You can now restore previously deleted Job Stage Inputs without recreating them.

Step 1

Open the "Deleted" filter on the Job Stage Inputs page.

Step 2

View the list of deleted input fields and click "Restore" next to the field you want to recover.
