SubcontractorHub features help you maintain a growing business while keeping everything connected, clear, and easy to act on. These updates are focused on improving how teams organize information, move work forward, and stay in control across different parts of the platform. The goal is simple: reduce friction, improve visibility, and help your team work with more confidence every day.
Admin Features for More Control and Better Organization
The latest Admin updates bring more control and better organization to everyday work. Stripe now follows a new required flow for adding a payment method, helping keep payments aligned with the latest standards. A new “Task Setting” option has been added to organization settings, which enables the addition of task calendars to tasks. Report folders and dashboards are now split into Favourite and Other sections, so important reports are easier to find. Additionally, note visibility within project details is now permission-based, which gives teams more control over who can view sensitive information. EPC organizations can now make adders automatically addable for their connected Sales organizations. When a sales organization selects the EPC as the installer, the configured adders will be added to sales proposals automatically.
Stage progression automations support more status options, including stage to progressing, stage to complete, and stage to none. This helps project stages update automatically based on the right triggers and conditions. Additionally, when a project is created or updated, the webhook now also captures the proposal’s add-on system value. Further, automation actions can be triggered internally through an external Webhook, and users can filter the automation list by action. This provides further flexibility in what you can automate on Subcontractorhub. Project automation history lets you see a field’s previous values, current values, and automation errors in one place. Along with this, admins can notify specific email addresses when an automation fails.
The commission setup also gets more accurate. The commission creation formula section comes with a cashback amount variable, while the commission module supports commission values up to three decimal points. Meanwhile, the Aurora project list now includes new filters for “design requested” and “design change requested”. Along with that, multi select feature in filters allows users to select multiple statuses at once to filter by. Solar proposal pricing control has also improved, as editing unit prices for non-system add-ons is now permission-based. Finally, sales organization settings include an option to enable EPC project stage mapping, allowing stages from the sales organization to be mapped to the EPC organization database for smoother cross-org workflows.
Sales Velocity Features That Help You Close with Confidence
A new Discount Details section has been added to Generic job type proposals, giving sales teams more control over pricing. Proposals include a dedicated section for customer-facing notes, making it easier for sales teams to share important context directly with customers. These notes appear in the proposal builder, public proposals, and converted projects. In addition, the discount section features cashback amounts, which are applied directly to the proposal pricing summary for clearer pricing visibility. For solar and battery job types, organizations can also choose to show the battery model number in public proposals and in the system details section of the proposal builder. Together, these updates help teams create more complete proposals while keeping customers better informed.
Project Management Features for Better Visibility and Smooth Workflow
For roofing projects, the “base price per square” field is now available in the contract details section, giving teams an easier way to view key pricing information while managing the job. Additionally, in projects, the public URL containing site survey photos and installation photos shows the customer’s name and address.
Time zone information is visible across the application wherever it applies, including projects, appointments, and proposals. For appointments, the time zone is also included in the title, along with the date and time. The project details page includes a “Arrivy Task” tab, which brings important task-related information into one place, including site survey and photo URLs, and task type (TDR/MPU). Additionally, projects that are in the “processing” stage will appear in multiple Kanban stage views.
Together, these improvements make everyday workflows smoother and more reliable. With better structure, clearer visibility, and more control, teams spend less time managing systems and more time moving work forward. They are all about helping you stay organized, work faster, and run your operations with greater clarity as your business grows.
