Why can’t I upload my image?

Which possible reasons can I check to use my photos and logos in my funnel?

You want to use your own image on a funnel page, but when uploading it, you receive a message in the editor saying that the upload failed. Below are 3 reasons why the upload might have failed and what you can do about it:

The image file size is too large (max. 5MB)

Your image is very large and exceeds the maximum supported file size of 5 megabytes (MB). Most of the time, images have a high file size because their resolution is very high.

To use the image, you need to reduce its file size to under 5MB. The easiest way is to use a free online service such as https://tinypng.com to compress your image. Afterwards, you can upload it to the editor and use it in the funnel without any issues.

The file format is not supported (PNG/JPG)

To ensure images are displayed correctly on all devices, your image must be in one of two specific file formats. At the moment, we support both JPG and PNG formats. If your image has a different format, you will need to convert it before uploading it to the editor.

To use the image in the funnel, it must be in JPG or PNG format. If your image has another format, we recommend converting it using a free online service such as https://convertio.co. Afterwards, you can upload it to the editor without any problems.

The image file is corrupted

Sometimes an image file becomes corrupted, making it unusable. This can happen, especially when exporting from image editing programs or by manually changing the image format via your operating system’s file manager. We block the upload of corrupted files to ensure system security. In any case, if a file is damaged, it cannot display an image and therefore won’t be useful to you.

If the file format and size are correct, but the upload still fails, we recommend contacting the creator of the image and requesting a new file.
