How to create a BOM Calculator inside a project using Sunrgy?

The Sunrgy BOM Calculator helps you create and manage material orders directly from a project. By entering the system and delivery details, you can calculate the required materials, select the right Sunrgy pricing template, and keep order information in one place. You can also access Sunrgy order details, representative contacts, estimates, and invoices from the BOM calculator.

Step 1: From the main menu, click “Manage Projects” and select “Projects” from the dropdown.

Step 2: Select the preferred project from the list.

Step 3: On the project details page, click the “BOM calculator” tab.

Step 4: Click “Create a new BOM”.

Step 5: Fill out all important details under system details and delivery requests details.

Step 6: After filling all details, click “Calculate”.

Step 7: From the pricing templates, select the preferred Sunrgy template.

Step 8: Once the BOM calculator has been created, you can click on the “Go to detail” icon to view the details of the calculator.

Step 9: On the BOM calculator details page, you will be able to view the Sunrgy order details and Sunrgy contacts, which contains the name and email of the Sunrgy representatives.

Step 10: Once the order is confirmed, you will be able to use the “Download estimate pdf” button. Similarly, once the order is shipped, you will be able to use the “Download Invoice Pdf” button.

Double-check the system and delivery details before clicking Calculate. Accurate information helps ensure that the BOM and pricing are based on the correct project requirements. Once the order is confirmed or shipped, return to the BOM details page to access the available estimate or invoice PDF.

A project manager needs to order materials for a solar installation. Instead of managing the material calculation and Sunrgy order information separately, they open the project’s BOM Calculator, enter the system and delivery details, and select the appropriate Sunrgy pricing template. After the BOM is created, they can view the Sunrgy order details and representative contacts in the same place. Once the order is confirmed, they can download the estimated PDF, and after shipment, they can download the invoice PDF.

I can’t create a BOM calculator.

Make sure you have selected an existing project and have access to the BOM Calculator tab.

The Calculate option isn’t working as expected.

Check that all required System Details and Delivery Requests Details have been completed before clicking Calculate.

I can’t find the Sunrgy pricing template.

Check the available pricing templates after calculating the BOM and confirm that the appropriate Sunrgy template has been configured for your account.

I can’t download the estimate or invoice PDF.

The Estimate PDF becomes available after the order is confirmed, while the Invoice PDF becomes available after the order has been shipped.
