For exchanges, we offer a configuration that allows you to block exchanges for items with a value of 0. You can find this under Settings > Exchanges > 'Block if selling price is zero'.
If you toggle this option, customers will not see the exchange button and will need to request either a return or a claim. Remember to 'Apply changes', once you toggle the option.
