Once you've placed an order and selected an expert, full payment equal to the writer’s proposal must be made upfront to complete the hiring process.
Your funds will be held securely in the platform’s escrow system — they won’t be released to the expert yet, but will remain reserved under the order until the final draft is delivered.
When the writer submits their work, you’ll have the opportunity to review it. If you’re satisfied with the final product, you can release the funds to the expert. This step marks the completion of the order.
If 8 days pass after the agreed deadline and you haven’t released the funds manually, the system will automatically release them to the expert. This measure ensures that experts receive payment within a reasonable timeframe and supports smooth, timely completion of projects for both clients and experts.
Note: If you accidentally release the payment before the order is finalized, and have completed the order prematurely, there is nothing to worry about. In such a case, the payment can be reversed: press the Undo complete button to return the order in progress, thus the payment will also be returned to the order's escrow.
