If you're an Android user and your Firsty eSIM isn't working, don't worry—most eSIM issues, including connectivity problems, can be resolved quickly with a few simple troubleshooting steps. This guide will help you get back online, whether you're experiencing connection issues, activation failures, or network problems. 🚀
Step 1: Check if Your eSIM Plan is Active
If your Firsty eSIM was working previously but has stopped, check if your plan is still active:
Open the Firsty App on your home screen.
Check if you have any days that still need to be activated.
Note: Check also that you're in the correct country for your plan
Step 2: Confirm Your Firsty eSIM Is Installed
Open Settings.
Tap Network & Internet.
Select SIMs (or SIM cards / Mobile networks).
Under "eSIMs," look for your Firsty eSIM.
If it's listed but shows "Disabled," tap it and toggle Enable SIM (or Turn on).
If it's not listed, you'll need to reinstall it
Step 3: Enable Mobile Data, Set as Preferred, and enable Data Roaming
Open Settings.
Tap Network & Internet (or just Mobile Network on some devices).
Under "Preferred SIM for data," choose your Firsty eSIM.
Ensure Mobile data is toggled on for that eSIM.
Select the your Firsty SIM
Enable Data Roaming
Step 4: Update the SIM Access Point Names
Open Settings.
Tap Network & Internet (or Connections).
Select Mobile Networks > Access Point Names.
Change apn to 'bicsapn'
Tap your Firsty eSIM profile.
Save your changes and restart your phone.
Step 5: Select the Network Operator Manually
Go to Settings.
Tap Network & Internet.
Select SIMs (or SIM cards / Mobile networks).
Tap your Firsty eSIM.
Tap Select Carrier ('Network operator' in some cases).
Toggle the automatic selection off.
Select from the list of network providers that appears.
Restart & Toggle Airplane Mode
