Templates User Guide

Templates help you save time, standardize responses, and improve efficiency when sending texts, faxes, and more.

Create a New Template

  1. Go to Admin > Templates.

  2. Click New at the bottom of the panel.

  3. Enter a Title and the message content.

  4. Check Active to make the template available to users.

  5. Click Save.


Using Templates

  • Templates can be applied when composing or sending:

    • Fax

    • Email

    • EHR import

    • Text message

    • Secure text message

  • Users select the template from the dropdown menu when creating a message.


Character Limits

  • SMS text messages: Templates are only available if the content is 280 characters or fewer.

  • Secure text messages: Templates can be used if the content is between 281 and 4,000 characters.


Managing Templates

  • Templates can be set to Active or Inactive.

  • Inactive templates:

    • Cannot be used until re-activated.

    • Are not deleted (they remain stored).
