Optimize a single route for a single day. The Route Optimization box will show the before and after optimization times.
Optimize a single route for a single day
If you like the new optimization in the Route Optimization dialog box, click OK
To optimize a single route:
Go into the Calendar, and go to Day view
Make sure the Tech's route is showing in the calendar, if it isn't:
a. Click Routes, and put a check mark next to the tech's name
b. At the top of the tech's column you'll see a clock and a little 'road' icon
c. Click the Clock
3. A Route Optimization dialog box appears
4. It shows Before and After Optimization and also shows you the improved timing
5. Click the Road icon see directions for each stop
Note If an email confirmation has already been sent for that day, it won't optimize the route because the time agreement between you and the customer for that appointment has already been set. In this instance you'll have to manually optimize the route around the set appointment.
