Connect Updox to Intergy (primary admin)

Updox shares patients, appointment calendars, and users with Intergy. To set this up, Updox needs an API user in Intergy.

  1. After your Updox account is created, our Onboarding team requests the connection details from Greenway.

  2. Your sales rep schedules your first onboarding session. In that session, we create the API user and link Intergy to Updox.

  3. Have Intergy System Administration and Practice Administration access ready for that session.

Signing in

  • Sign in at ui.myupdox.com after your admin creates your user account.

  • Admins create users under Menu > Admin > Users.

  • Virtual printer: sign in with your Updox username and password or your practice’s Integration Key (Menu > Admin > Practice Information).

Patients and contacts

  • Patients sync automatically from Intergy.

  • Contacts don’t sync. Add them in the Address Book or upload a contact list.

Sending documents to Intergy

  • Categories sync from Intergy.

  • You can send faxes, uploads, printed documents, emails, texts, secure texts, forms, and video chat summaries.

  • Imported documents show in Intergy as added by API_Updox.

  • You can also send a message or task to a provider in Intergy.

Reminders tips (admins)

  • Reminders needs a separate Reminder API user in Intergy, which is created after Greenway approves it.

  • New appointments sync every 45 minutes.

  • Calendar names come from Intergy.

  • Patients can cancel from a reminder if an admin turns that on. Each cancellation creates a provider task in Intergy, which you remove by hand.

  • To mask the phone number that reminder calls come from, contact Onboarding or Support.
