Guide to Receiving Verification Codes (OTP) on Baji: Password Reset and Account Verification
This article will help you find the One-Time Password (OTP) or verification code sent from Baji Live. These codes are needed to reset your 'Forgot Password' and to verify your phone number or email.
Main Update: Phone Number Codes Are Now on WhatsApp
For your convenience, Baji Live's number verification and 'Forgot Password' OTP codes are now sent to your registered phone number's WhatsApp. To receive codes successfully, ensure that WhatsApp is installed and logged in using your registered phone number, and that there is a stable internet connection available.
Therefore, if you have requested a code via your phone number, please check your WhatsApp account first.
Code Retrieval Process (Step-by-Step)
You can request a code using either your phone number or email. See below for where to find the code:
Method 1: Via Phone Number (Password Reset or Number Verification)
If you request a code using your phone number, please check the following two places:
WhatsApp Inbox (Primary Method): First, check the WhatsApp app opened with your registered number. A new message will arrive from Baji Live containing your code.
SMS Inbox (Alternative Method): If you do not get the code on WhatsApp, then check the main inbox of your phone's default messaging app (SMS Inbox).
Method 2: Via Email (Email Verification)
If you request an OTP code via email, please check the following folders:
Promotion Folder: The code might go directly to your email's Promotion folder.
Spam Folder: If you don't find it in your inbox or promotions, check your Spam folder.
Inbox: Finally, check your main inbox.
What to do if you don't get the code? (Troubleshooting)
Ensure that the phone number or email you are using matches the one registered to your Baji account.
If you do not get the code after waiting for a long time, please try the following steps: Allow 5–30 minutes for the code to arrive, as delivery times may vary depending on network conditions and the delivery method. If you do not receive the code, wait 4–5 minutes and request it again. If prompted to try again later, wait the required interval before retrying.
Verify Your Contact Information: Ensure the phone number or email address registered on your account is correct. For phone numbers, do not include a leading zero when entering it.
If you don't receive the phone number code:
Check Spam Folder: Check the Spam folder of your phone's default messaging app (SMS Inbox).
Restart Phone: Restart your phone once and try again.
Mobile Network: Ensure your phone has an active mobile network (SIM Card signal). SMS will not arrive using only Wi-Fi (though WhatsApp messages will).
Clear Old Messages: Delete old SMS messages to free up space in your inbox.
SIM Slot Positioning: Ensure the SIM card for your registered number is in SIM slot 1 for better reliability.
Phone Number Format: Format your phone number correctly (e.g., without the leading 0).
Check Again: Thoroughly check your Promotion and Spam folders again.
Internet Connection: Check if your internet connection (Wi-Fi or Mobile Data) is working properly.
Refresh: Refresh your email app.
Use the Baji App: Try requesting the email verification code through the Baji app instead of a browser.
Clear Browser Cache: If using a browser, clear the cache and cookies before retrying.
Reinstall the Baji App: Uninstall and reinstall the latest version of the Baji app from the official source.
Switch Internet Connections: Toggle between mobile data and Wi-Fi to see if the issue resolves.
Special Note: For Teletalk Users
The Teletalk operator system has completely blocked Baji's SMS service, classifying it as spam.
For this reason, if you are a Teletalk number user, you will not receive any verification code in your mobile's SMS inbox. To get the code, you must check the WhatsApp (WhatsApp) account opened with your registered Teletalk number.
