Summary

  1. On the top of the page, you can display your project’s target by Systems / Groups, or by cost classification system.

  2. You can display the targets for the entire project or focus on one particular component.

  3. You can also filter your TVD page by Status, review the sections visibility and define which will not be displayed.

  4. To set a target, navigate to each tile, click Set Target and specify the Element target as dollars per GSF and the target will be automatically generated. You can also define a percentage tolerance and a stretch goal.

  5. If you set the filters to display a particular component, you can benefit from more detailed targets. You can edit targets here by clicking Set Target and filling out the needed information.

  6. As your project progresses, and you upload updated estimates, you can easily monitor your targets based on milestones.

  7. Display your elements in a tabular format using the icons in the top right corner, to easily visualize which element cost is below target or above target. Note that you can edit the target values using this tabular format.

  8. Target Value Design seamlessly integrates with Calibrate to help you compare targets between projects. Simply select the projects you want to add to the comparison, and decide on the normalization of the costs.
