How to connect Gong to Coworker

Connect Gong so Coworker can reason about your customer conversations. Gong is admin-connected with an access key pair.

What Coworker can do with Gong

  • Index calls, participants, trackers, topics and scorecard outcomes

  • Produce one report per customer account with call activity: who met whom, how often, talk-time balance, topics and trackers discussed, and scorecard outcomes, with brief transcript excerpts for color — never full transcripts

  • Receive real-time freshness signals through webhooks

Reports follow the Gong connection's access policy, scoped to your configured revenue-team audience.

Before you start

  • You must be a Coworker Network Admin

  • You need a Gong access key ID and access key secret

  • You need to know your Gong regional/API base URL

Connect as an admin

  1. Open Data Sources from the admin settings in Coworker and select Gong.

  2. Enter the access key ID, access key secret, and select your regional base URL.

  3. Save.

  4. Optionally set up Gong Automation Rules to deliver webhook events for faster freshness.

Connect as a member

Gong has no per-user connection flow. One admin credential covers the organization.

Good to know

  • Gong's own privacy rules can exclude private calls even from an admin API credential. Admin-connected means broad tenant access, not a bypass of Gong privacy.

  • Webhook delivery uses a separate signed-JWT verification value. It is not interchangeable with the polling API secret — when rotating one, preserve the other or one path will silently stop.
