Connect Zendesk so Coworker can see your support queues, tickets and knowledge base. Zendesk is operationally admin-connected today, with individual connections able to supplement it.
What Coworker can do with Zendesk
Index tickets, conversations, groups and help-center articles
Produce one report per support group with ticket activity: tickets created, resolved and escalated, who handled them, and notable customer conversations. Quiet groups produce nothing.
Read and update tickets during Deep Work when a task explicitly requires it
Tickets get private access policies scoped to the people involved. Help-center articles — public documentation by nature — are indexed as workspace-visible on purpose.
Before you start
You must be a Coworker Network Admin to make the workspace connection
You need your Zendesk subdomain, an admin email and an API token
Connect as an admin
Open Data Sources from the admin settings in Coworker and select Zendesk.
Enter your subdomain, admin email and API token. Use a fully privileged admin credential — a non-admin token can authenticate but cannot use the incremental export and roster endpoints needed for complete indexing.
Save.
Connect as a member
Go to the Work page and click Data Sources.
Select Zendesk and complete the authorization.
Per-agent credentials improve user-attributed tool calls and coverage, but they do not remove the need for a privileged workspace credential.
Good to know
The subdomain must match the token's account.
If you are migrating from an older OAuth-only Zendesk connection, an admin may need to enter a new API token.
