The Fireflies.ai connector lets you bring your meeting transcripts directly into Coworker. Each user connects their own Fireflies.ai account using a personal API key. Once connected, Coworker can search your transcripts, surface meeting summaries, look up action items, add the Fireflies bot to live meetings, share meetings, and update meeting titles — all from within your Coworker workspace.
Note: The Fireflies.ai connector is currently in beta. It may not be visible in your connector list until your workspace has beta connectors enabled. Contact your Coworker admin or reach out to Coworker support if you do not see it.
Prerequisites
A Fireflies.ai account
Your Fireflies.ai API key (found in your Fireflies account settings)
A Coworker account (individual connection — no admin setup required)
How to Connect
In Coworker, go to Settings > Connected Data Sources. You can also connect during onboarding from the data connections screen.
Find Fireflies.ai in the connector list and click it.
Enter your Fireflies.ai API key when prompted. Your key is encrypted and stored securely (AES-256-GCM).
Click Connect to complete the setup.
Where to find your Fireflies.ai API key
Log in to your Fireflies.ai account.
Go to Settings and navigate to the API section (or Integrations, depending on your plan).
Copy your personal API key.
What Coworker Can Do Once Connected
After connecting, Coworker indexes your Fireflies.ai meeting data and you can:
Search across your meeting transcripts and ask questions about past meetings
Surface meeting summaries, key decisions, and action items
Add the Fireflies bot to live meetings from within Coworker
Share meetings and update meeting titles
What is synced: Meeting transcripts, transcript sentences, meeting summaries, and participant data. Full audio and video files are not synced into Coworker.
Troubleshooting
I don't see Fireflies.ai in my connector list
The Fireflies.ai connector is in beta and may be hidden until your workspace has beta connectors enabled. Reach out to your Coworker admin or contact Coworker support to request access.
My transcripts aren't appearing in Coworker
Make sure your API key was entered correctly. You can disconnect and reconnect the integration from Settings > Connected Data Sources to re-enter your key. Note that new transcripts sync on a regular cadence — recently completed meetings may take a short time to appear.
Can multiple team members each connect Fireflies.ai?
Yes. Fireflies.ai is an individual connector — each person connects their own Fireflies.ai account with their own API key. Each user's transcripts are scoped to their personal connection.
Does this work with my existing Fireflies.ai meetings?
Yes. When you connect, Coworker ingests your existing transcripts as well as any new meetings going forward.
