Summary
When a customer makes a PayPal payment in the Online Portal, an error might occur, PayPal Error: Things don't appear to be working at the moment. This is a PayPal error, not a Fieldwork error.
Key Points
- Your PayPal email address or PayPal Identity Token is incorrect 
 -OR-
- Your PayPal setting Encrypted Website Payments is set to ON 
This error typically occurs for two reasons:
- You have entered your PayPal email address or PayPal Identity Token incorrectly. Confirm your PayPal email address and PayPal Identity Token are entered correctly within Downloads →Settings → Payment Gateways → PayPal Standard. 
       Go to Settings/Company Information to confirm your PayPal email address or 
       PayPal Identity Token.
   2. You might also see this if Encrypted Website Payments is set to ON. Setting it to 
       OFF resolves the issue. This setting can be adjusted from within your PayPal 
       account by going to Account Settings. Under the Product & Services group, select
Website Preference. Scroll down to Encrypted Website Payments. Verify it is OFF
