Automations are one of the biggest time-savers in SubcontractorHub. Instead of manually handling repetitive tasks, you can set up triggers that do the work for you — so your team can focus on closing deals and completing installs.

From the main menu, go to “Manage Database” and select “Database” from the dropdown.

Click “Additional” and select “Automations” from the dropdown.

Click the “Add” button.

Provide a “Title” for the automation. Click "Next".

Select “Project” from the available modules. Click "Next".

Select the preferred job type. For this example, we have selected “Solar”. Click "Start Now!".

Click “Add Start Trigger(s)”.

Select a trigger from the list.

Click the “+" sign above "Automation Ends Here”.

Select “Sign Via SCH” from the list of actions.

Select the preferred document template and click “Save”.

Once the automation is saved, it will show on the interface.

💡 A contractor uses grouped checkboxes in their contract template so customers can select which add-ons they want with simple check marks — making the signing process quick and error-free.
