How To Add Custom Loan Companies To Your Database

Why This Matters

If you offer financing through lenders that aren't pre-loaded in SubcontractorHub, you'll need to add them to your database first. This ensures the lender's name shows up as a selectable option when you're setting up financing details on a proposal using Manual Entry Financing mode.

It takes less than a minute — here's how.

What You'll Need

  • Admin access to SubcontractorHub

  • Access to the Manage Database section

  • The name of the loan company you want to add

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Database

From the main menu, go to Manage Database → click Database.

Step 2: Navigate to Custom Lenders

Click the Additional dropdown and select Custom Lenders.

Step 3: Click Add

Click the + Add button to add a new lender.

Step 4: Enter the Company Name and Save

Type the name of your loan company and click Save.

That's it! The new lender will now appear as a selectable option when you're configuring financing on proposals.

Real-World Example

Carlos works with a local credit union called "SunBright Financial" that offers great rates for solar installations. Since it's not a major national lender, it wasn't in SubcontractorHub's default list. Carlos adds it under Custom Lenders, and now his sales team can select "SunBright Financial" right from the financing dropdown on every proposal.
