Collaborator access is needed by us in order to create a mockup or undergo a custom integration and to check for any errors that may appear on the store.
When conducting a custom integration or any checks for errors, we need to identify which order had impact on specific individuals and the amount of points credited in that order. For this, we need the store owners to grant us the collaborator access.
However, please keep in mind that we have access to the customer information after the installation of easyPoints. We need the access in order to check the Shopify management and we have information from the easyPoints app.
How to accept the request
Access the Settings on the management page in Shopify. Then go to the Users and Permissions and click on a collaborator (Team Lunaris). Please grant us the access that we need and make sure to save the settings.
The access that we will request are the following:
Orders
Editing orders
Draft orders
Products
Customers
Manage and install apps and channels
Themes
Store settings
How we use the permissions
Orders / Draft orders
When there is an error with an order, we will need access to the order management page.
Products
When we are requested the custom integration, we need at least one item in the cart to see if the integration is working properly.
Adding on, when there are errors in bonus point collection features or products that are not related to points, we need this permission to check for any mistakes
Customers
When setting a custom integration, we will need to check if the points are working. To do this, we need this permission in order to manually adjust points to our test account.
Adding on, if a certain customer has issues with their points, we will need to investigate that but will need the access to the customers.
Manage and install apps and channels
When going through a custom integration or when there is an error with the app, we need to check if the app is working out smoothly and we need access to this.
Theme
We will need this for mockup and custom integration.
Store Settings
When there is an error with easyPoints, we need to check if the settings are not the main reason for the problem which is why we need permission for this.
