The referral reward feature enables users to refer a friend using a unique link to to make a purchase at a store. When the referee signs up to the store through the shared link and makes their first purchase, the referrer receives the reward.
To be eligible for the reward, the referred customer must sign up and place an order. Guest purchases, non-first time customers, and referred customers with no orders do not qualify for points.
Setting up the link
The referral link an be displayed in your store as:
Widget card
If your store uses the widget, it will contain a card that includes the referral link.
App block
The referral link can be embedded in. your store as an app block.
easyPoints my account page
Referral link will also be displayed automatically in the my page.
integrated section
If your store is set up with the theme integration, the referral block can also be embedded as an integrated section, allowing it to be placed, styled and adjusted as you wish.
Settings
Feature Activation
Make sure the setting at the top is "Enabled" to utilize this feature.
Point Reward
Specify the number of points awarded for each successful referral.
Tier based settings
By checking the "Set reward per tier" toggle, you can set different amounts of rewards for each tier.
Customer Reward Limit
Set the maximum number of people one customer can refer.
If this form is left blank, the customer will receive the reward for every referral.
Time Frame
Establish time frames after point allocation.
If you have set a time frame, referrals made during the specified period will not result to rewards. For example, it can be restricted to once per day or once every 30 days. This is fully customizable.
Reward Delay
By default, the points will be allocated once the referred customer's shipping status changes to fulfilled. However, this can be delayed using this setting.
