Details of judge.me terms and the settings

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Judge.me is a feature that collects customer reviews and increases sales.

By utilizing the app with easyPoints, you can reward reviews and give out points to customers.

This article will explain what Judge.me is, the vocabulary, and the settings required for setting up with easyPoints.

Judge.me glossary

Review request / requested review

A request to review a product after purchase via email, and the actual review that has been published due to this.

Web review

A review that has been written in the online store.

Imported review

A review added to Judge.me from a different platform.

Auto-publish

The feature to automatically publish a review when they are posted.

Published

An online review status.

Curated

If the Auto-publish feature is not used, reviews are manually accepted and posted. This is also a status of a review.

Verified

This is not a status for a certain review, but a status for a user within a store that has been verified. In order to become a verified customer, one of the following requirements need to be met.

  • Was directed to write the review via a Judge.me review request email.

  • Has orders in any shop registered with Judge.me.

  • Has logged in to the user profile.

  • Has buyer-verified reviews in any shop.

Judge.me auto-publish and easyPoints curation

If the auto-publish setting is active in Judge.me, any review posted will be published to the store automatically. If it is not set, only reviews accepted by Judge.me will be published on the store.

In easyPoints, additional settings to curate who will receive the points can be set.

  1. Manually curated reviews (in Judge.me) will receive points.

  2. Verified customers will receive points.

  3. Only reviews with the required stars will receive points.

Now, let's take a look at what it will look like with the Judge.me settings and the easyPoints settings combined with examples.

Auto-publish: ON + Curation ON

Since auto-publishing removes the requirement for approval to be published, this condition will make it impossible for any review to receive point rewards.

NO reviews will receive points.

Additionally, you can configure verified reviews and minimum rates to control which customers will receive the rewards.

  • Imported reviews need to be manually approved. So, in order to receive points from a approved review, the account should be verified as well.

  • There is a minimum rating setting on Judge.me as well but, this is the setting for publication and is not the same as the one on easyPoints where you can create a minimum rating for crediting points.
